Kev, This weekend was your birthday and as heartwrenching as it was and always will be that you were not here physically you were in spirit and to spread your cheer and laughter.
The void of your absence will never be filled but I will always remember your sense of humour and your smile that could light up the gloomiest of rooms. I remember the first time you met Jason, it was like a revolving door. You came in said hi and come with me. Three or four hours later....that was you Kev, willing to open your heart and your home to anyone. You taught us all to do that and to appriciate simple things in life and each other..for that we are forever grateful to you. We miss you and love you always see you again sometime

When I think of you, I think about the dumb Adam Sandler skit joke you tried to do. Isn't that a stupid thing to remember but that's what I remember. You loved that joke, and everyone always laughed when u did it. That's what I remember, you laughing, and that's what I will always remember. How we all sat in June and had supper and cake for Brooklyn and my birthday at the lake, the last time we were all there together. You were always the good host, inviting us there, making EVERYONE feel welcome. Never stressed, only relaxed at the lake. How you were so proud and happy with your boat. The kids always talk about Uncle Kev and how you paint the sky for them. Especially Brooklyn, always wanting to take a picture of the sky and it's colors, to capture you. Isn't a time we don't look at the colors in the sky and think of you. We all love you.
Kev I will always remember you as my brother in law that never ever did me wrong never embarrassed me well okay you did a few times, and were there when I needed some help.When you were a host at your place you'd always offer me a drink and when I was a host at my place you usually went to fridge yourself.That's how I remeber you and that's why I have not visited you lately because I don't want to remember you there I only want to keep the good memories of you in my head.Missing you,Chad
Today is your birthday sweetie. You got the "buttering of the nose" from your mom. Every year on your birthday, I tried to get you, and you always saw it coming. Every year on my birthday, you got me, because I always forgot....I'm remembering your 40th birthday party, and how you thought not many people would show up...and then, how you were so happy that it was a packed house. You looked so happy, in your element. Everyone you love was around you, joking with you, and everyone had so much fun. And, even if I couldn't get you that morning to butter your nose, I did surprise you when the nerd showed up, you were so embarrassed, but such a good sport, as always.
We should be going for happy hour today, and then out to dinner. I wasn't supposed to get you a present, because we would be going on a trip, but I would anyway...today, we will go for dinner for you. Look for your balloons ok?
